I have 'recently' have been modelling and considering how much I enjoy warmelons since it actually has quality to it from other mods. I was wondering if there is any model that anyone thinks should be replaced with a new model. Such as the super weapons (which I think look fine but...) or anything else.
I have free time on my hands here and there and I would like to do somthing during it when no one is on the server. Suggestions anyone and give detail or references on what it should look like.

All i can think off is a new texture for the spawn point. (Offtopic..) Welcome to the forums, if you remember me from the server.

We could always use new specific cap point models, but the one thing I want to stress is that we need more superweapon models. Basically, if you make something I can find a superweapon design that could use it.
Also, if you ever made some new model that is capable of rolling (so somewhat spherical, but different from the existing models) it would be useful to help differentiate different types of melons.

Personally I think the superweapons look fine, though if you are looking for different varieties on it I suppose I could work on it. Though it would help if you give me your thoughts or anyone elses thoughts on what it should look like.
As For the spherical models I will put thought into it and see what I can do.

I didn't mean a different design for current superweapons. I meant just more designs in general. I have many plans for new superweapons and they will need their own model.

I am working on remaking some of the models I have submitted so far. I need to make sure that they are more optimized which, in turn makes it easier to handle.

For any modelers out there wondering what the standards are for poly numbers and optimizations I could care less what they are. Try not to go crazy, but really clientside graphical lag is something I could care less about. GMOD is years old and source is even older. Most people can handle the graphics portion. It's the CPU/bandwidth portion that is getting most people.

Though we should avoid high poly numbers, it is possable to spam the server and crash it with high poly models. I've seen it done before. Besides high poly just makes it a bit better looking than a low poly and im sure not many people care about the detail of a small capture point they will look at for two seconds.
