I've finished my first map for warmelons, mw_industrial. If anyone is interested you can go look it up on gmod.org. Its based on and industrial park theme centered around a very tall smokestack. So any way if it could get converted it would be nice. ;D Any ideas for improvements are very welcome.

Thanks a lot for taking your time to make a map for us.
I just tried it out and I am pleased to see that architecturally it should make for interesting matches.
I don't know what exactly you mean by converting as your map is already 100% WM:RTS compatible. See the article on variants for more info.
I will have this map running on the server rotation in a couple days.
I would suggest the following:
-You are using the same white texture for most of the map which is kinda boring, but more importantly, it makes it hard to visually differentiate the shapes of the map. From far away, the pillars and overpasses blend together and it is very hard to distinguish faces of polygons.
-The walls of the map seem kinda high, which isn't definitely a bad thing, but it does mean that played can build all sorts of stuff really high up on the walls. If this was a skybox they couldn't do that so I'd suggest lowering them so you don't see players having outposts and spawn points super high up.
-The high walls are also the same texture which again, makes distinguishing things hard.
Good work and I would be delighted to see more of your maps in the future.
