It is FINALLY finished, wm_Naval_Combat(because I am not good at thinking of names). This map is meant for sea battles mainly, although it does have large platforms to battle, and also for laps additions to naval warfare whenever he adds them. I don't see why compiling should take so long. A few suggestions, it looks like you have no lights. This is a pet peeve of mine, add a light_environment and play around with the settings, it will look a lot nicer. With the platforms you need to add a ramp so things can get on and off of the spawn blocks smoothly. It is a little bit blocky and dull so try adding things that will really jazz it up, things that people wouldn't think of. People may not only want to do naval combat, try making some kind of way to get from place to place without having to use air or naval units. It is a good start, I'm guessing its your first map, but it does need some work. Add me onto steam and I can help you make this better, add Killmaster100 I'll be added under Mp6. ok, I added a basic walk around the outside of the water, and added ramps, and the light_environment. I won't add anything large unless I am starting V2 or adding the idea will make the map much better.

update:
Map now has elevated battle areas at each corner and smaller(I will probably change this) platforms between the 2 bases on the same wall, plus lighting and such has been added.

That's looking really nice, try working on some of the textures and increasing the width of the spawn -> platform walkway, it looks really thin.

ok, not much progress in the last week, just made the low platforms longer. Today I plan on adding some details, more textures, and look into possibly making it so the water will rise and lower every few minutes just to make things more fun, and if I do that, I will raise the low platforms but I will probably add that into V2 because of how long this one is taking..
UPDATE: decided to do details, rising/sinking water, in V2, I however have added different textures and will be releasing soon.

I noticed you don't have a trigger_hurt on the bottom of the water. Having a trigger hurt there at the bottom with maybe 5 damage or so a second is nice because any shipwrecks that fall down there will eventually explode and not lag the server.

ah good point.... srry, I have had a cold and bad cough for like the last month and it now is stopping. I will put it in and then post a fixed version ASAP.
