-Range of flak now matches snipers.
I'll also be out of town for until Monday. If the server goes down and doesn't come out it's due to the rare hard freeze and not just the usual crash. In that case it won't be coming up until Monday. Without my constant tweaking it might also be a little laggier than norma so I'm lower the player limit by one. When I get back I hope to get the new munitions factories and launchers in right away.

Ok, have a happy easter weeked.
And finalyl flak reach further, I suggest making them actually have same range as snipers + height of sp though (not necesary I guess, but still might be worth atleast testing when you come back).

yeah that was a problem with snipers I had in one round, a guy was able to hover over my base and destroy everything because the flak couldn't hit him, but his snipers could hit everything, and I was running low on resources, so I was unable to make something to fly up and destroy his sniper platform..

There is homing missiles. Spawn a explosive that is the missile type. Then select it. Then hold e and rightclick on target.

I meant as a "launcher melon", that fires homing missiles as projectiles (Great for taking down flying melons)
But that would lag too much, right?

why would it lag to much? You ever used wire or the e + rmb homing? None of them makes any noticable lag.
Also, I would rather see the possibility to wire xyz coords/vectors for missiles, so you make them homing with wire.

You ever used wire or the e + rmb homing? None of them makes any noticable lag. Also, I would rather see the possibility to wire xyz coords/vectors for missiles, so you make them homing with wire. Wiring everything comes last. So few people use it. Almost nothing in WM:RTS lags the server by itself. I've previously denied most types of missiles, esepcially homing ones because of how much CPU strain they put on the server. I have an idea for a good compromise between lag and function, so we might have some homing missiles in the near future.

I know wiring come last, you told me it about 25 times now . I got a good idea (well actually its more of a joke). Make all melons wireable for xyz coords, so you can wire the laser receiver to it, then you can use a gun to ctrl them:O. You could call that wiring a rt selector (get it?).
