I'm looking for a good orbital one for a map I'm working on.

I'll try and get them, but FPS Banana almost never loads for me. Whether it be page not found, or temporarily unavailable (as it is now) - for some reason it's always fucked when I want to visit. But the prospect of new textures does sound appealing, never even thought of it until I saw the thread.

Just going to FPSBanana or a similar site once and using a rarely seen cool skybox can really make your map stand out. Same with simply switching the standard grass texture to something else.

Just a note, for those who don't know:
If you use these textures you will want to obtain and learn to use a program known as "pakrat" which will allow you pack these textures right into your maps, negating the need to actually upload all the textures with your maps on gmod.org or where ever else you may post em'

Photorealistic texture pack: www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14080All the instructions you need are in pages 1-2 of that thread to get your textures working in Hammer. This pack contains over 2000 very realistic textures. Once your done creating the .wad, just go to Tools > Options > Materials and click the Add button for wads. Select it, hit OK, restart hammer and you're good! EDIT: I'm working on converting them all to vtf / vmt and will upload them to garrysmod.org when done. Be on the lookout for that if you don't want to deal with wads.
